Carolyn van der Linden

Carolyn van der Linden joined League and Williams in May 2023 as an associate solicitor, with a focus on estate planning and administration.  Carolyn works with her clients to help them make important decisions associated with estate planning and estate administration. Carolyn effectively ensures that her clients have wills that reflect their desires, are protected in the event of incapacity and that estates are administered fairly and efficiently.  Carolyn’s compassion and expertise are invaluable in helping clients navigate the tasks that need to be completed when a loved one passes away.  She has spoken at numerous seminars on estate matters and she particularly enjoys working with seniors.

Carolyn van der Linden completed her undergraduate degree and law degree at the University of Alberta.  Prior to practicing in B.C., she practiced in Alberta and Manitoba as a litigator with law firms and as in-house counsel for two insurance companies.

Carolyn has volunteered extensively, including as a director on various boards, a program facilitator at a seniors centre, a community and school soccer coach, and in schools while raising her children.

Carolyn builds strong relationships and prides herself on creating practical results for clients with a high level of satisfaction.

When she is not practicing law, she enjoys travelling, working in her garden and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
