Law Student Scholarship - Supporting Future Legal Advocates

Law Student Scholarship

League and Williams believes in the development of those becoming advocates for people who have experienced personal injuries, unfair estates or marine law problems and as such is offering a Law Student Scholarship of $1,000 annually to a student attending a Canadian law school.

To be eligible for the scholarship, create a short video essay (less than 5 minutes in length) that addresses a legal issue in the areas of personal injury, estate litigation or marine law and upload it to YouTube tagging “League and Williams” and “Law Student Scholarship 2019”.  Email League and Williams at jwilliams(at) with a link to your uploaded video essay and include the following information in your email (which will be kept confidential):

  • Your name
  • The date you started law school
  • The law school you are attending
  • The date you expect to graduate law school
  • The area of law you hope to practice in after graduation
  • Your mailing address and phone number

Entries will be judged upon a combination of likes, views and merit.  Deadline for entry is noon PST on May 1, 2019 with a winner being chosen May 15, 2019.  The winning entry will be uploaded to League and Williams’ YouTube channel.
