Robert Anderson has been with League and Williams since 2016, initially as a summer student. Upon completion of his National Committee on Accreditation exams, he articled with the firm in 2019 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2020. During his time with the firm Robert Anderson has worked closely with Darren Williams on a variety of matters. Robert Anderson’s practice focus is on the law of admiralty and maritime law, which includes carriage of goods, marine insurance, charter party and vessel purchase agreements.

After graduating in 2010 from Shawnigan Lake School, Robert Anderson attended the University of Victoria earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then went on to obtain a first class honours degree in Law from Cardiff University, Wales in 2018.

Outside of the office, Robert enjoys rugby, sailing, good food, craft beer, and spending time with his family.

Robert Anderson is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, Canadian Maritime Law Association, and the Society for Nautical Research. Robert is the primary contributor to admiraltylaw.com.
