Karina Carson has worked as part of the LaW team to deliver high quality legal services and advice. Karina believes the practice of law enables her to make a positive difference in her clients’ lives and that dedication and hard work are the key to ensuring that clients receive quality legal services and advice that they are satisfied with.
Karina has been called to the British Columbia Bar. Prior to being called to the Bar, she completed her articles under the supervision of Darren Williams, founding partner of LaW. She has worked closely with Darren, and sharing the vision of League and Williams, took the opportunity to establish the Victoria office in 2014 by joining the LaW team as an associate. She practices in the areas of personal injury law, estate law, and marine law.
Prior to joining LaW, Karina was a top performer in the travel industry who consistently received awards for client satisfaction. She worked her way through her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, graduating with distinction. She then moved to the United Kingdom to attend Staffordshire University and earned a first class honours degree in Law.
She has been a dedicated volunteer with Mount Saint Mary’s Hospital in Victoria, BC and the Citizens’ Advice Bureau in Stafford, England. Karina enjoys travelling, yoga, tennis, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Karina is a member of the Victoria Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers of British Columbia.
Karina is a temporarily non-practising member of the firm.
